Meet Peggy Halyard
Peggy Halyard has been a licensed professional counselor for over 25 years with a thriving practice in Houston. Psychology is her passion. As a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist in Houston, she provides services in person as well as virtual therapy. She is also a Certified Imago Relationship Couples Workshop presenter.
Peggy works with couples, individuals and adolescents, helping them navigate through their life stages and developing more fulfilling relationships. She also works with individuals or couples on parenting and divorce issues. Peggy is also a family law mediator.
Peggy’s approach to counseling is to collaborate with her clients to facilitate their self-insight and growth. Peggy employs different counseling methods depending on the needs of the client. Modalities may include Imago relationship therapy, solution-focused short-term therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Prior experience includes working at the Neuropsychiatric Center in the Houston Medical Center.
